Reaching Hotel
Hotel Central Park is on Vía Ricardo J. Alfaro (Tumba Muerto), one of the three main arteries of Panama City.
From Tocumen International Airport (PTY):
By Taxi/Uber: The hotel is about 25 km from the airport and a drive that usually takes between 30 minutes to one hour, depending on traffic, preferably along Corredor Norte (North Corridor) because this route avoids entering city center traffic.[1] Uber works perfectly well in Panama; moreover, it is less expensive than either so-called "Tourist Taxis" or regular yellow cabs.
By Metro/Bus: Difficult if you have luggage. You would take the Metro Line 2 from the airport to San Miguelito, transfer to Line 1, get off at "San Miguelito" or "El Ingenio," and then take a bus or taxi. Not recommended for first-timers. From Albrook "Marcos A. Gelabert" Airport (PAC): This domestic airport is much closer, about 15-20 minutes away by taxi.
By Car:
If you are renting a car, getting to the hotel is easy because it is located right off the main road. However, be careful not to miss the entrance while speeding down Tumba Muerto.[1] Look for signage that says either "Central Park" or "Casino" and stay in the right lane as you approach El Dorado's intersection.
